You’re invited to the public presentation of Trenčín’s new Public Space Manual – a document designed to help create more coherent, high-quality, and welcoming streets, squares, parks, and public transport stops.
The manual sets standards for street furniture, surfaces, greenery, and small-scale infrastructure we encounter daily. With this document, Trenčín joins a growing number of Slovak cities approaching public space design systematically and with a long-term vision.
Who is the event for?
The event is open to everyone. We especially encourage the participation of those directly involved in shaping the future of public spaces – local councillors, architects, urban planners, developers, business owners, institutions, and civic initiatives.
Why should you come?
Because public space affects all of us. This manual is here to support the creation of more beautiful, functional, and sustainable places to live. Its implementation will bring consistency to our streets and provide clarity in the city’s investment projects.
You’ll get the chance to see the final version of a document developed over several months and ask any questions you may have.
