Thanks to the Living Neighborhoods project, the market at Dlhé Hony is coming to life again – this time with the aroma of grilled food, special lighting after dark, and great music.
We invite you to an informal neighborhood gathering where we can enjoy the fresh air, relax, take part in activities, and meet the people we pass by every day – our neighbors.
PROGRAMME
16:00 – 21:00: Grilling and Roasting
Bring your favorite food and prepare it together with your neighbors. We’ll also provide something tasty – grills, a firepit, and bread will be available.
17:00 – 17:45: Yoga for Everyone
Join us for a light yoga session – even if you’ve never tried it before. A few mats will be available, but feel free to bring your own.
20:00: The Market in a New Light
Special market lighting + an acoustic concert by a local artist.
During the event, there will also be the ceremonial opening of the Neighbourhood Table. This pavilion was created for everyone who lives here, passes by, or simply enjoys stopping for a moment. It is a place for conversations, relaxation, and shared moments.
We built it from wooden structural elements originally used in the parklet on Palackého Street, complemented by a light canopy made from repurposed advertising banners from the M. A. Bazovský Gallery. By reusing these materials, a new Neighbourhood Table has come to life. Its story will continue to be written by you—through the way you use it.

For all residents of the Dlhé Hony neighborhood – whether you live in an apartment building, a family house, or are just visiting. Come with your children, friends, or even alone – you’ll definitely meet someone new. Admission is free.
