During the tour, curator Zuzana Pacáková will introduce the exhibited works and their deeper significance in a social context.
About the exhibition
The group exhibition “Love, Bread and Other Duties” presents the work of five renowned Slovak female artists who have long explored themes of the female world. From intimate moments to public expressions, from individual stories to collective memory – the exhibition examines the diverse experiences of contemporary women. Through visual media, the artists open discussions on identity, status, and the perception of women in the context of our cultural and social reality.
Why visit?
Visitors to the exhibition will gain a deeper understanding of the female experience, presented here in all its forms – concerns, joys, desires, and struggles. These aspects, set within a broader social framework, offer a rich mosaic of perspectives and opportunities for reflection. The exhibition will appeal to those interested in visual arts, the younger generation, and women themselves, providing new insights and inspiration for contemplation.
