Discover Volunteer Opportunities and Inspiring People at DOBROstretko
Volunteering is a fantastic way to spend your time meaningfully and contribute to positive changes in our community.
Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 5:00 PM in the Gallery at KKC Hviezda for the DOBROstretko event and explore how you can get involved. This gathering is for everyone, whether you’re already a volunteer or just considering starting.
Program:
- 5:00–5:40 PM Presentation of the new Trenčín2026 database and collaboration with the City of Trenčín
- 5:40–6:00 PM Refreshment break
- 6:00–6:30 PM Discussion on volunteer recognition
- 6:30–7:00 PM Q&A session
Event Moderators:
- Stanislava Minárik Imrišková – Project coordinator with the Trenčín 2026 team, specializing in volunteering.
- Martin Daško – Chair of the Youth Council of Prievidza and assistant at the Trenčín Regional Youth Center.
Guest Speakers:
- Zuzana Ševčíková – The statutory representative of the Trenčín Volunteer Center and the Trenčín Youth Center created full-day educational programs for upper primary and secondary school students as part of so-called “class team-building” activities. These programs aim to connect youth to various volunteer programs, including through career counseling.
- Erik Palák – Nominated for Srdce na dlani 2024 in the coordinator category, leading a team of 97 volunteers at the Sisters of Mercy Hospice in Trenčín, where he also works as a caregiver.
- Oľga Mičudová – Winner of Srdce na dlani 2023 in the senior volunteer (60+) category and nominated for a national award Srdce na dlani 2023.
- Alena Strýčková – Director of the Púchov Leisure Center and youth work coordinator.
- Jozef Močko – Chair of the Youth Parliament in Púchov, awarded Srdce na dlani 2023 in the “volunteer group” category.
DOBROstretko is an opportunity to get up close with volunteering, find inspiration, and meet people who devote their time and energy to making Trenčín and the region a better place.
