At the playground featuring an iconic mushroom-shaped statue, aptly named “HRYbik” by locals, a delightful neighborhood mini-festival took place. The event included live music, a summer outdoor children’s cinema, fun activities, and even a firetruck tour. Older residents of Sihoť especially appreciated the exhibition of old photos of the Sihoť neighborhood, which allowed them to reminisce about the area’s history through photographs collected from neighbors.
In addition to the festival, residents of the courtyard on Švermova Street came together one Saturday to lay the foundation for their new community garden. Despite the gloomy weather, they managed to build several raised beds. The edible shrubs planted will provide fruit to anyone passing by.
