Emerging Musicians Deserve a Platform to Shine. For the fourth year in a row, we’re continuing the “Garage” project, offering opportunities for bands from Slovakia and providing memorable experiences for people in Trenčín and the surrounding areas.
This time, you’ll have the chance to enjoy upcoming musicians over three August Saturdays (August 17th, 24th, and 31st) when the Garage parks at KKC Hviezda in Trenčín.
Among the 20 selected acts, you’ll find some familiar faces from the Trenčín region. These include Charms Kids & Matus O. from Trenčín, Laura Magičová & Band from Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Katarina Marosi from Považská Bystrica and Some Hope from Nová Dubnica.
You might also be drawn to Greyhole and Vanessa Weisz, who were chosen by the curators of Norway’s Youth Art Festival UKM and performed in front of an audience in Bodø, the European Capital of Culture 2024, at the end of June. Meanwhile, we sent SJU to Pohoda, but due to a devastating storm, they couldn’t perform live. They’ve prepared an online concert for you instead, which you can watch here: tinyurl.com/bd4d2dby.
