Creative Professional for the Creative Partnerships for Primary Schools Project

 

We are looking for a colleague to join the exciting Creative Partnerships for Primary Schools project, which is part of the New Generation of Creative Leaders program. The project is implemented by the organization T-Tudok from Hungary, which has many years of experience with this initiative.

The goal of the project is to bring art, creativity, and creative learning into classrooms and curricula. When working with students in classrooms, the artist remains an artist and the teacher remains a teacher. The program does not provide art education. Instead, the artist and the teacher work together to transform existing curricula of specific subjects into more interactive and creative teaching methods that encourage student engagement and critical thinking.

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • Education in an art field and active artistic practice (in any area).

  • Availability to visit a primary school in Trenčín and communicate regularly with the teacher of the assigned class.

  • Knowledge of Slovak language (English language skills are an advantage).

  • Openness to innovative teaching methods.

  • Teaching experience is an advantage.

 

Your Role:

  • Active collaboration with the teacher of the assigned primary school class in Trenčín.

  • Support and inspire students in their creative processes.

  • Bring creativity, innovative solutions, and experimentation into the teaching process.

  • Timely submission of project documentation.

  • Networking and collaboration with other artists and professionals.

  • Basic compensation of min. €200/month

Job Location and Duration:

Duration: September 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026.

Working week: approximately 8 hours (project-based).

Location: Trenčín (collaboration with an assigned primary school or class in Trenčín).

 

More Information:

The project will begin in May with a preparatory training in Trenčín, where you will receive all the necessary information.

 

Preparatory Training:

  • May 15, 2025 (4-day training in Trenčín).

The training will be in English, but interpretation will be provided.

Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the organizers.

Attendance at the training is a mandatory condition for participating in the project.

 

Kick-off Training:

  • August 28, 2025, immediately before the start of the school year, together with the participating teachers.

    Division of tasks, strengthening relationships, and the start of collaboration between creative professionals and teachers
